Simmersion announces US$1.9M (A$2M) investment for "Mycosm" virtual world platform expansion
NEW YORK (April 3, 2008) — Simmersion Holdings Pty Limited (Simmersion Holdings), a 3D software and services company, today announced it has received a US$1.9m (A$2m) investment from leading global high-tech investors. The funds are being used to launch a new virtual worlds social network and technology platform, Mycosm.

Simmersion receives $836,440 grant
Simmersion has gained $836,440 in a Commercial Ready grant from AusIndustry which will assist in enabling their current solution to alllow users to simulate real or imagined world environments with high-level realism, context and geometric accuracy in a networked environment.
